Butler Reunion - Austin Butler Descendants

The Annual Reunion of the descendants of Austin Mansfield Butler and Millie Alice Ivey will be held in Decatur Co. TN on Sunday, August 31, 2008.  All descendants of Austin and Alice Butler are urged to attend.  Descendants of James M. Butler and Patrick Henry Butler are also invited to attend.  The reunion will be held at the Bath Springs Community Center.  General festivities will get under way at 10:30 AM and continue into the afternoon.

The group will enjoy a pot luck lunch around noon.  Guests are asked to bring a covered dish to share.

Don’t forget to bring your old photos, stories, and other information to share with your Butler cousins. If anyone has any descendent information on the Butler line that they would like to have added to the Butler Family Migrations Book or the Butler web site, please bring this with you and see Carl Butler, Jr.

We will have copies of the latest printing of Butler Family Migrations available for purchase.  The book will be updated on July 1 for the reunion so please get all updates to Jerry Butler as soon as possible.

Directions to the Bath Springs Community Center:

From Scotts Hill, TN -

Travel south six miles on highway SR-114 to the intersection with Brooksie Thompson Road.  The Bath Springs Community Center is on the right side of the road at the intersection with Brooksie Thompson Road.

From Clifton, TN -

Travel north fifteen miles on highway SR-114 to the intersection with Brooksie Thompson Road.  The Bath Springs Community Center is on the left side of the road at the intersection with Brooksie Thompson Road.

From Decaturville, TN -

Travel south 1.2 miles on highway SR-202[SR-69] and then turn right on SR-202 [Brooksie Thompson Road.]  Continue for 8.4 miles to the intersection with SR-114.   The Bath Springs Community Center is on the left side of the road at the intersection with SR-114.
