Montgomery Land Grants - Decatur Co. TN

David Montgomery and his children, William, Hugh and Mary received land grants in Decatur Co. TN totaling approximately 1200 acres. These grants were located near the Red Walnut Church on adjoining tracts off of the old stage road between Clifton and Lexington. That road is now designated highway 114. The map below shows the Montgomery tracts and selected adjoining tracts owned by others.
