Thelma Gertrude Hannah, 83, Craig Chapel Road, Lester, Ala. died Thursday, July 19, 2001 at Florence Comprehensive Care Center.

Visitation will be Saturday, July 21, from 11a.m. to 1p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home, Athens.

The funeral will be July 21, at Limestone Chapel at 1 p.m. with burial in New Salem Cemetery. Officiating at the funeral will be Van Bowers.

She was born Sept. 13, 1917, in Lauderdale County and was a member of Craig Chapel Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by a son, Paul Wilson, a grandson, Brent Wales, one brother, Dalton Butler, and one sister, Kathleen Richardson.

She is survived by her husband, Clyde Hannah, Florence, Ala. one daughter, Shelia Zills, Prospect, Tenn., four sons, J.C. Wilson, Florence, Ala. Gene Wilson, Florence, Ala. Dennis Wilson, Florence, Ala. Steve Wilson, Leighton, Ala., 14 grandchildren,22 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, two stepdaughters, Betty Grisham, Florence, Ala., Janet Owens, Lester, Ala, one stepson, Bill Hannah, Athens, Ala., three brothers, Carlos Butler, Florence, Ala., Coy Butler, Florence, Ala., Johnny Butler, Florence, Ala., two sisters, Sarah Jackson, Florence, Ala., and Lila Grissom, Lexington, Ala.
