Mr. Butler

Joe Aubrey Butler, 65 of 120 Jefferson Ave., Muscle Shoals died Saturday night at the residence following an extended illness.

He was a native of Lauderdale County and a member of Darby Drive Church of Christ, Florence.

Services were conducted today at 2 p.m. from Morrison-Elkins Chapel in Florence by T. D. Terry and Albert Hill. Burial was in Florence Cemetery, Morrison-Elkins directing.

Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Mallie Butler, Muscle Shoals; a daughter, Mrs. Carl Morris, Muscle Shoals; two sons, James, Florence; Gerald, Sheffield; three sisters, Mrs. Martha Montgomery, Florence; Mrs. Isia Barnes, Bassett, Va.; Mrs. Nola Rickard, Tipton, Ga.; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.

Nephews served as bearers.
