It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court, that Thomas LAYTON and wife Priscilla, Peter WHITE, John WHITE, George WHITE, Eleanor WELLS, and Perry WHITE and wife Penelope, are residents of the western country and without the limits of this State. It is therefore ordered, that publication be made in the Windsor Herald as to the said LAYTON and wife, Peter, John and George WHITE, Eleanor WELLS and Perry WHITE and wife, that unless they make their personal appearance at our next Court of Pleas and Quarter Sessions, to be held for the county of Bertie, at the Court House in Windsor, on the second Monday of February next, judgment, pro confesso, will be taken against them by default, and the prayer of the petitioner granted.
