Father: John LUCAS Mother: Susannah HAILE NotesThe Edmund H. Lucas family is said to have lived in Decaturville, Tennessee
for many years according to some sources. By 1850, census records show them in
Humphries County, Tennessee. Then, very soon after the Civil War ended, Edmund
H. Lucas, his wife Elizabeth (unknown) Lucas, and their two sons, Isaac J. and
Nimrod F. G. Lucas, moved to Crow, Scott County, Arkansas. Elizabeth died soon
after their arrival, as did Nimrod. Nephews and nieces later made the move from
Tennessee to Lucas. |
