Services for Mrs. Clara Montgomery Presley, 81, were Monday afternoon at Liberty Methodist Church and cemetery. She died Sunday morning at her home near Sardis after a long illness. She was a lifelong resident of the Sardis area and a Methodist. She leaves four daughters, Mrs. Loda Scott and Mrs. Roberta Snider, both of St. Louis, Mrs. Tommie Wylie and Mrs. Ruby Mitchell, both of Sardis; a son, Cecil Presley of Sardis, a stepdaughter, Elizabeth Presley of Sardis; a stepson, Lee Presley of Ada, Oklahoma; a sister, Mrs. Ida Murphy of Sardis.
