I have used the icon to mark the names of the individuals in my database who are part of my direct ancestral line.  On their individual page, I have included the coat of arms for their family if it is available.  I have not researched the heraldry of these families but have selected the coat of arms that I liked best in those cases where there were multiple choices.  Most of the heraldry artwork came from a web site in Ireland.  I used the Laurel Tree for the surnames for which I was not able to locate a suitable coat of arms. 

These are the families of my direct maternal line that I have identified to date from my family research - Davidson, Lancaster, McClure, Merritt, Miller, Montgomery, Temple, Walker, Wells, Whitfield, Young.
