Funeral services for Mr. Barney L. Montgomery, age 89, were held Saturday, June 29, 2002 at the Parsons Mortuary Chapel with Bro. Neal Hinson officiating. Interment followed in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Montgomery, a retired farmer, died Friday, June 28, 2002 at Decatur County General Hospital. He was of the Methodist faith and a member of the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife Willie Montgomery of Bath Springs, and several nieces and nephews.
