Linda Butler Collins, 60, of Bartlett, homemaker and former employee of Holiday Inn, died of heart disease Wednesday [28 Mar 2001] in Bartlett. Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Highland Heights United Methodist Church where she was a member. Memphis Funeral Home Germantown Parkway Chapel has charge. Mrs. Collins, the widow of Alvin Eugene Collins, leaves two daughters, Linda Parker Hanks of Bartlett and Carolyn Parker Jordan of Columbus, Ohio; two sons, Steven Ross Parker of Castalian Springs, Tenn., and Billy Parker of Bartlett; her mother, Mildred Mason Butler of Memphis; two sisters, Anne Butler Burr of Winneconne, Wis., and Susan Butler Swope of Memphis, and three grandchildren. The family requests that memorials be sent to Highland Heights United Methodist Church or a charity of the donor's choice.

Linda Butler Collins was cremated. Her ashes were scattered in the Tennessee River, Florence, Lauderdale Co. AL.
