Bennie D. Lancaster Sr., born October 1, 1894. Enlisted in the service July 8, 1918, and served with Development Bn. Discharged December 18, 1918, with rank of private first class. Bennie passed away <deleted. He was the son of Robert L. and Adeline (McClure) Lancaster. Married to Jessie (Eason) Lancaster and had nine children: Irene Reid, Geneva Montgomery, J. L. Lancaster, Ruth Tyler, Bennie D. Jr., Dorothy Reid, Ralph Lancaster, Ted Lancaster, and Anne Maners. Submitted by Mrs. J. L. Lancaster.

Bennie D. Lancaster, Sr., farmer and World War veteran, living on Route 1, Bath Springs, Tenn., died at 8:55 last night at Veterans Hospital. He entered at 3:45 a. m. yesterday. He was 47.
Mr. Lancaster was a native of Tennessee, and was a first-class private in the World War.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Jessie Woodie Lancaster; nine children.
