He married Elizabeth circa 1760 in Virginia. Adam migrated to Bute County, NC (Warren Co. after 1779), and left a will in Warren Co. in 1789. Adam Milam's father was John Milam who was born before 1720 and died in 1789 is South Carolina. He married Judith (Bartlett) Cole circa 1739.
