Mr. and Mrs. Gary Adkisson of Decaturville are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Amy Nicole to Steven Paul Brooks, son of Mr. Paul Brooks of Scotts Hill and the late Betty Brooks.
Amy is the grandaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Shutt and Mr. and Mrs. Albert Adkisson, all of Decaturville. Amy is a 1999 graduate of Riverside High School. She is a 2001 graduate of Elite College of Cosmetology. She is currently employed as a cosmetologist at Southern Styles in Scotts Hill.
Steve is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Dewey McCarver of Fackler, AL. And the late Mr. and Mrs. Ezra Brooks of Stevenson, AL. Steve is a 1997 graduate of Scotts Hill High School. He is currently employed at Young Touchstone in Lexington.
The ceremony will take place on Saturday, March 19, 2005 at Old Center Methodist Church in Bath Springs. Music will begin at 3:30 with the ceremony beginning at 4:00. Reception will immediately follow. Invitations are being sent to out of town guests only; however, all family and friends are invited to attend.
