He was born in Decaturville and had lived in Vero Beach for 26 years, coming from Columbus, Ohio. He was a verteran of the United States Air Forcer. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Patricia H. McClure; three dauthers, Patty Hegarty of South Carolina and Susie Lang and Carolyn Hunter of Vero Beach; seven grandchildren, including Kyle Hunter of Parsons; seven great-children; two nieces, Lynne Dungan and Geraldine Raney of Decaturville; and two great-nieces, Rita Alloway and Beth Kirby of Decaturville.
