Rujim Reed Obituary

Rujim Reed, 92, of Scotts Hill, Tenn., passed away Tuesday,
March 7, 2017 at Decatur County General Hospital in
Parsons.

He was retired from Kaddis Mfg., was a farmer, a member
of Liberty Methodist Church and was a US Army veteran
serving in WWII.

Mr. Reed is survived by a daughter, Terri (Mark) Kennedy
of Bath Springs; a stepdaughter, Kathie (Tony) Messina of
Clarksville; four stepsons, Jerry Moore of Destin, FL, Ronnie
(LeAnn) Moore of Parsons, Ricky “Slick” Moore of Scotts
Hill and Randy Moore of Beech Bluff; a daughter-in-law,
Barbara Reed of Lexington; and three sisters, Mattie Wilkins
of Parsons, Annie Sue (Fred) Wilkins of Parsons and Jackie
Pate of Parsons.

He is also survived by four grandchildren, Greg Reed,
Stephanie (Tucker) Southall, Brooke Kennedy and Joanna
Kennedy; several step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren;
and several step-great-grandchildren; and several
great-great and step-great-great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by two wives, Dorothy Lancaster
Reed and Ellen Smith Reed; a son, Larry Reed; a sister,
Claudell Renfroe; and parents, Jack and Odie Reed.
Funeral services were held at Reed’s Chapel in Decaturville,
Tenn., at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 11, 2017. Burial
followed at Prospect Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers were Ricky Barker, T. J. Barker,
Reed Wilkins, Tony Messina, Greg Reed and Kendall Reed
