Hazel L. Patterson, age 93, passed away Friday, June 6, 2008 at Decatur County General Hospital. Funeral services were held 2:00 PM Sunday at Red Walnut Church of Christ with Bro. J. Walker Whittle officiating. Interment followed in Red Walnut Cemetery. Mrs. Patterson is survived by her daughters, Joyce Patterson Newman of Bath Springs, Patty Patterson Camper of Parsons, Bennie Patterson Clark of Bath Springs, brothers, Farris Brasher and Marles Brasher; nine grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and ten great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Finis Patterson; son, Larry Patterson; brother, Lester Brasher; and grandchild, LeAnn Patterson.
Serving as pallbearers were Jimmy Patterson, Timmy Patterson, Dwight Patterson, Bobby Newman, Jason Clark and Mike Rhodes.
Honorary pallbearers were Cody Newman, Joe Patterson, Shawn Patterson and Nathan Patterson.
