Robert Creed Tuten, born January 12, 1927. Enlisted in the U. S. Army April 15, 1945, and served with Co. L, 105th Inf. as warehouse foreman. Countries served in: Japan, Oct. 7, 1945-Oct. 4, 1946. Discharged Dec. 1, 1946, with rank of technician fourth grade.
Awarded the Victory Medal, Pacific Theater, Army of Occupation Medal and Rifle Sharpshooter Badge.
Robert passed away Nov. 1, 1968. He was the son of Benton F. and Thelma (Lancaster) Tuten. Married to Virginia L. (Reynolds) Tuten and had four children: Frankie L. Tuten, Robert W. Tuten, Brenda J. (Tuten) Walker and Linda G. (Tuten) White. Submitted by Linda White, daughter.
