Paul D. Moore, born February 17, 1921, in Decatur County, TN. Enlisted in the service September 9, 1942, at Ft. Oglethorpe, GA. Service included: AAF to Infantry to Field Arty. Military locations, stations were Ft. Oglethorpe, GA; Topeka, KAS; Grand Island, Texas; Ft. Bragg; Camp Hattiesburg, MS. Served in Philippine Islands until end of war. Discharged February 9, 1946 at Ft. Smith, AR, with rank of staff sergeant. Med. Corps, MOS 86.
Married to Lou Nell Higdon and has one daughter, Paula Denise and one grandson, William Paul. Self employed as commerical fisherman - muscle shells. Currently retired and resides in Parsons, TN.
