Mildred M. Butler, 95, of Memphis, TN passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at her home. She was a member of Highand Heights Methodist for 61 years, an Eastern Star, Summer Avenue Lodge and a Mother Advisor for the Rainbow Girls. Mrs. Butler was born in Deal, MD to Harvey and Grace Ward Mason. She was the widow of Ross Choate Butler and is survived by daughters, Mildred Anne Burr (Ronald) of Winneconne, WI, Susan Sutton (Anthony) of Cordova, TN; grandchildren, Randy Burr of Neenah, WI, William Parker of Bartlett, TN, Rickey Burr of Cherokee, AL, Steven Parker of Athens, TN, Deborah Lynn Zellsdorf of San Antonio, TX, Rebecca Burr of Appleton, WI, Linda Hanks of Memphis, TN, Robert Scarlett of Ponte Verde, FL, Russell Burr of Memasha, WI, Carolyn Jordan of Columbus, OH and Chrystal Elliott of Memphis, TN; 13 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Butler is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two daughters Mary Grace Scarlett and Linda Ross Collins, and four brothers, Edward Mason, William Mason Gordon Mason and Fredrick Mason.
