Interment followed in the Wylie Cemetery. Mrs. Newman passed away on Novmeber 8, 2005 at the Decatur County General Hospital. She is survived by sons Jr. Newman of Bath Springs and Ralph Newman of Bath Springs; brothers Danny Sparks of Bath Springs and Johnny Sparks of Decaturville; sisters Brenda Patterson and Lynn England both of Decaturville and a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by parents Louise Currin Sparks and Elco Sparks; husband Tommy Newman; son Jeff Newman; and brothers JE Sparks and Jerry Sparks. Pallbearers included Jesse Mayo, Keith Patterson, Josh Smith, Andrew Sparks, Scotty Thomas, Bobby Newman, Kenneth Wade and Randall Goff. Services for Mrs. Joyce Kathy Newman were held Thursday, November 10, 2005 in the Parsons Mortuary Chapel with Brother Roy Wyatt and Brother Jimmy Wallace officiating. Interment followed in the Wylie Cemetery.
Mrs. Newman passed away on Novmeber 8, 2005 at the Decatur County General Hospital.
She is survived by sons Jr. Newman of Bath Springs and Ralph Newman of Bath Springs; brothers Danny Sparks of Bath Springs and Johnny Sparks of Decaturville; sisters Brenda Patterson and Lynn England both of Decaturville and a host of nieces and nephews.
