Elizabeth Morgan is mentioned in the will of Abraham Rushing in 1806. It seems most likely that Elizabeth was the wife of William Morgan, the only Morgan in the Anson County census in 1800 and 1810. At least some of the Morgans in Decatur and Henderson counties may be descended from this family.
