Nathan Lee (Doc) Maners

Funeral services for Mr. Nathan Lee (Doc) Maners, age 90, were held Thursday, December 26, 2002 at Thurman's Creek Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Clinton Barnett and Elder Cecil Woodruff officiating. Interment followed in the Wylie Cemetery.

Mr. Maners died Tuesday, December 24, 2002 at the Decatur County General Hospital.

He is survived by his wife Beulah Maners of Bath Springs, a son Billy Maners of Bath Springs, four daughters; Evelyn Harris of Parsons, Ethel Puckett of Sardis, Brenda Higdon of Bath Springs and Peggy Kennedy of Sardis, a sister Grapel Maners of Bath Springs, eleven grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one great-grandchild.

Pallbearers were Ricky McBride, Lloyd Ivey, Wayne Montgomery, Larry Montgomery, Paul Maners and Wayne Davis.
