Joanna Leigh Blackstock Cearley

Funeral services for Joanna Leigh Blackstock Cearley were held November 13, 2018 North Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons in Jackson. Burial followed in Oakfield Cemetery.

Cearley, 41, passed away on November 10, 2018.

She was born in Henderson County to Sherry Harvey and Donnie Blackstock. On May 10, 2008 she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Billy Franklin Cearley, who survives.

Joanna was a 1995 graduate of Chester County High School and attended Freed-Hardeman University and Lambuth getting a degree in business. Joanna worked at Leaders Credit Union until she became disabled from breast cancer and brain cancer.

In addition to her husband and parents, she leaves behind two sisters, Brandi (Rusty) Harris and LeAnne
(Justin) Hill; a brother, Shannon (Terra) Blackstock; stepmother, Teresa Blackstock; step-father, Ira (Debbie) Harvey; mother-in-law, Linda (Steve) Cearley; three grandmothers, Dorothy Jo Lancaster, Neva Harvey and Voncille Oevermann; her sister-in-law, Stephanie Chism; and a long list of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; and a special friend, Amanda (Michael) Smith.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Bennie Lancaster; grandparents Anna Mae and Omer Lee
Blackstock; and grandfathers Edward Harvey and Louis Oevermann.

Memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society or Henderson Church of Christ.
