Nellie Sue (Butler) Adkisson Nellie Sue Adkisson, 90, of Decaturville, TN, passed away Wednesday, September 9th, at AHC Westwood. She a retired cook at Decatur Co. Hospital. Nellie is survived by a daughter, Shelia (Michael) Cox, of Lexington; two sons, Gary (Eddie) Adkisson, of Decaturville; Wayne (Roxanne) Adkisson, of Bath Springs; a sister, Marie McEarl, of Decaturville. She is also survived by 5 Grandchildren - Steve (Ashley) Adkisson, Doug Adkisson, Mandy (Tim) Middleton, Amy (Steve) Brooks, Paige (Richard) Moling and 11 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Adkisson, her parents, Clyde and Beulah Butler and a brother, Austin Butler. Her Funeral Service will be held at Reed's Chapel, Decaturville, TN, at 11 AM on Friday, September 11th, with Bro. Denny Broadway officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday 6 PM - 8 PM and Friday 9 AM until service. In lieu of flowers, contributions are requested to Pleasant Hill Cemetery Fund c/o Sarah Pusser 229 E. South St. Decaturville, TN 38329 All attendees at visitation and service are required to wear a mask and practice social distancing. Any food brought to funeral home must be individually wrapped. |
