Nina Sue Yarbro Shutt Nina Sue Yarbro Shutt, 90, of Decaturville, Tenn., passed away Monday, July 6, at her home. She was born March 7, 1936 in Decatur County to the late Walter G. and Jessie Sue Yarbro. Nina had been a factory worker, a babysitter and had worked at the Decaturville Do-It Center. She was a faithful member of Old Center Methodist Church. She loved reading, gardening and taking day trips. Nina is survived by her husband of almost 70 years, Ed Shutt, of Decaturville, Tenn.; a daughter, Eddie (Gary) Adkisson, of Decaturville, Tenn.; and her daughter-in-law, Vickie Shutt, of Glade Springs, VA. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Mandy Middleton, of Decaturville, Tenn., Amy (Steve) Brooks, of Decaturville, Tenn., Melanie (Jeff) Hicks, of NC, Crystal (Jacob) O'linger, of VA and Breanna (Matt) Burke, of VA; 16 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Ricky Shutt; her parents; her sister, Laura Bell; and her brother, Logan Yarbro. Her funeral service will be held at Reed's Chapel in Decaturville, at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 8, with Dennis Cordle officiating. Burial will follow in Old Center Cemetery in Bath Springs, Tenn. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2 p.m. - 8 p.m. and Wednesday 9 a.m. until service at Reed's Chapel - Decaturville. |
